Following intelligence inputs of terrorist activities in the vicinity, security personnel in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, conducted a major operation early on Tuesday. Three people who have been identified as terrorists were encountered during the operation, which was a joint effort between the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The incident happened in the Kulgam district’s Redwani sector, a location where similar security operations have occurred in the past. A cordon and search operation were conducted on specific inputs that suspected the presence of terrorists.
As the operation progressed, it became an encounter that saw three terrorists eliminated. Their identities were not immediately known; instead, they would become known after the bodies were removed from the scene of the encounter. This action is a part of continuous efforts to keep the region stable and secure, which have been put to the test by terrorist activity.
