Football legend Lionel Messi makes his acting debut

Lionel Messi played a five minute role in ‘los protectores’, an Argentinian series

After conquering football and winning everything that football can offer, Lionel Messi now has his eyes on acting and has made his first step towards conquering acting as well by playing a 5 minute role in an Argentinian series called ‘Los protectores’ where the footballers plays himself.

The clip of the series with Messi has gone viral and people can’t get enough of it. In this clip, Messi is shown playing himself and three football agents can be seen offering him a business venture which will let him play in multiple clubs across the Argentinian football league. Messi seems a little surprised and unimpressed but later agrees to a venture which will let young Argentinian kids play competitive football in Europe.

The series can be viewed of Star+ and has an IMDB rating of 6.5.

Messi recently played for Argentina in a couple of friendlies and has also moved from PSG to Inter Miami as a free agent. Inter Miami is a club based in the US and plays in Major League Football. Lionel Messi is expected to make his club debut soon in July.

Lionel Messi was born in Rosario, Argentina on 24 June 1987 and made his senior debut for FC Barcelona in 2004. He has also played for PSG and will now soon make his debut for Inter Miami. He also plays international football for Argentina and recently won the World Cup with them. He has also won the Ballon D’Or for a record breaking 7 times. He has won 34 trophies with Barcelona, 2 with PSG and has won a Copa America, a FIFA World Cup and various other trophies with Argentina.
