At the UK’s AI Summit, billionaire and Tesla owner Elon Musk was introduced to by Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar. During their presence at the AI Summit in the United Kingdom on Thursday, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar met billionaire and Tesla owner Elon Musk.

In the course of their spontaneous meeting, Elon Musk disclosed that he and Shivon Zilis’ son had the middle name “Chandrasekhar.” He credited the well-known Nobel scientist Prof. S. Chandrasekhar for inspiring the name.

Look who I bumped into at #AISafetySummit at Bletchley Park, UK. Elon Musk shared that his son with Shivon Zilis has a middle name “Chandrasekhar” – named after 1983 Nobel physicist Prof S Chandrasekhar,” the minister of state for electronics and information technology said in a post on X.

“Haha, yes, that’s true,” Shivon Zilis responded to the post.

“We call him Sekhar for short, but the name was chosen in honor of our children’s heritage and the amazing Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar,” she said.

A coalition of 28 nations, comprising major powers such as the US and China, has reached a consensus to work together to tackle the “catastrophic” risks that the fast developments in AI may bring about.

At a former intelligence center outside of London, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak organized the first-ever worldwide AI Safety Summit. The summit was centered around cutting-edge “frontier” AI, which some experts fear might pose a threat to humanity itself.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar attended the summit on the first day as India’s representative. On the last day of the first Artificial Intelligence Safety Summit in England’s Bletchley Park, the British prime minister is presiding over deliberations.

On Thursday, Sunak will meet with officials of various nations, the UN, and the European Union to talk about the actions that need to be taken in order to produce safe AI.

Interestingly, talks with “like-minded” countries and major tech firms including Microsoft, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, OpenAI, Meta, and xAI are on the schedule. On the second day of the summit, Chandrasekhar will take part in discussions focused on developing a cooperative artificial intelligence framework among countries with similar objectives. He will shed light on India’s position about the hazards associated with AI, especially in areas like election security and disinformation.

Elon Musk, the enigmatic entrepreneur and CEO known for his groundbreaking work in technology and space exploration, has often made headlines not just for his innovations but also for his unconventional approach to parenting. Musk and his partner, musician Claire Boucher, famously known as Grimes, have chosen unique and, some might say, odd names for their children.

Their first child, a son, was born in May 2020 and was named X Æ A-12. The name sparked widespread curiosity and confusion, with many wondering about its pronunciation and meaning. Musk later explained that “X” stands for the “unknown variable,” “Æ” is a character used in various languages, including Danish and Norwegian, representing Artificial Intelligence, and “A-12” refers to the Archangel 12, the precursor to the SR-71 Blackbird, a reconnaissance aircraft.

In December 2020, Musk and Grimes welcomed their second child, a daughter named Y, which Musk humorously referred to as “Baby Y” on social media.

While the names may seem peculiar to some, Musk’s unconventional choices reflect his innovative and boundary-pushing nature. As a tech visionary, Musk continues to challenge norms and redefine possibilities, not only in his professional endeavors but also in his personal life, leaving the world intrigued and fascinated by his unique approach to naming his children.
