Mexico’s ‘devil monster’ kills his wife and ate her brain in tacos

The disturbing allegations include the dismemberment of the victim's body, consumption of parts of her brain incorporated into tacos, and the use of her shattered skull as an ashtray.

In a shocking incident in Mexico, a 32-year-old man was arrested for the brutal murder of his wife, followed by the disturbing act of cannibalism. The man, identified as Alvaro, has been labeled a “devil worshipper” by the media. This crime took place on June 29, when the perpetrator, under the influence of drugs, allegedly killed his wife, Maria Montserrat, in their residence. The couple had been married for less than a year and had five daughters from a previous marriage, ranging in age from 12 to 23.

After committing the act, Alvaro reportedly cut up his wife’s body and packed the remains into plastic bags. Some body parts were discarded in a nearby ravine, while the rest were kept at their home. The crime remained concealed until two days later when the accused called one of his stepdaughters to confess.

Maria Alicia, the victim’s mother revealed the shocking details of the crime. “He told one of her daughters to come and collect her mum because ‘I already killed her and put her in bags’,” she shared. Emotionally distraught, Maria Alicia questioned why her daughter had suffered such a fate when she was not a bad person.

The victim’s family disclosed that Alvaro, who worked as a builder, had a history of alcohol and drug addiction. Furthermore, they revealed that the two youngest daughters had also been subjected to violence and sexual harassment by their stepfather. Maria Alicia explained how he would invade their privacy by spying on them while they showered, and despite the mistreatment, her daughter remained loyal to him out of misguided love.

This horrifying crime has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice from the community. Authorities arrested Alvaro, who now faces charges for the murder and desecration of his wife’s body.

This case serves as a reminder of the violence and abuse that can occur behind closed doors. It calls for increased efforts to prevent domestic violence, protect vulnerable individuals, and provide support to victims who find themselves trapped in abusive relationships.
