Kerala MLA PC George demands India to be declared as Hindu Rashtra, says LDF & UDF have terror links
MLA PC George who has been undefeated since 1987 issued provocative statements claiming “Love Jihad “to be true and said that there is a conspiracy to turn Kerala into Islamic majority.
Controversial, provocative and a man whom everyone loves to hate in Kerala politics PC George has been even nicknamed as “Pottymouth PC” but this has not stopped him from being a formidable entity in Kerala politics winning every election since 1987, springing up electoral surprises every time and this time aiming for a 8th consecutive term.
He kicked up yet another storm when addressing a gathering held at Thodupuzha in Idukki district which was organized by a non-profit, Human Resource Development Society (HRDS), P C George said that India should be declared as a Hindu nation to counter terrorism. He also alleged that the United Democratic Front (UDF) and the Left Democratic Front (LDF) in Kerala are supporting terrorists in order to make India an Islamic state by 2030.
PC George said, “Let’s consider the nations around the globe. There are capitalist countries, poor nations and Third World countries like India. All countries give prominence to some religion. In the case of Arabian countries, they are not just Islamic but also believe that whatever is not Islamic is inappropriate. Countries like America are also falling in this line, but things are changing now. Muslims infiltrated France, and now they are converting it into [a] Muslim nation. Though it was a nation of the Christian community, Muslims are encroaching, it won’t be much late.”
He alleged that PM Modi’s demonetization was a roadblock in the plans of “Islamists “to turn India into a Muslim majority nation by 2030 and even raised the issue of how Hagia Sophia has been converted into a mosque in Turkey.
He demanded India to be converted into a Hindu Rashtra as it is the only way to protect Christians and Hindus from Love Jihad. “The rulers should understand that the minorities would be able to live here with a sense of security only if India is declared a Hindu Nation. I am speaking this knowing fully well what would be the impact of my words, I know love jihad is real, I will say there is ‘love jihad. When I’m saying where we are headed, don’t misunderstand. There is only one solution to put an end to this. Respected Bharath [India] must be declared a Hindu Rashtra. here is love jihad at Erattupetta and 47 girls from the region, including 12 Hindu girls, have so far fallen victim to the practice,” he alleged.
Mr. George later said his statement was never intended to hurt peace-loving Muslims in the region. BJP has been accused to give tactical backing to PC George by not fielding its candidate in Poonjar and allotted it to Bharat Dharma Jana Sena, a weak local alliance partner.
A new political alliance between Hindus and Christians is being seen in various parts of Kerala with common grievances of Love Jihad and Islamic extremism which both the UDF and LDF have failed to address. Former Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan had even declared in a meeting about the mission by Jihadis to convert Kerala into an Islamic state by religious conversion. But it has been constantly ignored by both LDF and UDF due to the fear of not getting Muslim votes leaving the Christians to fend for themselves. Even prominent Bishops had met PM Modi regarding the same earlier and this anti-Muslim rhetoric by PC George is seen as a ploy to gain Hindu and Christian votes who form nearly 90% of the population in his constituency.
