Pune’s Lavasa to house world’s tallest statue of PM Narendra Modi?

In a grand gesture of admiration and respect, Darwin Platform Infrastructure Ltd (DPIL), a renowned organization, is all set to construct a monumental statue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lavasa, Pune. This ambitious project aims to create history by erecting the world’s tallest statue, surpassing the iconic Statue of Unity in Gujarat.

DPIL, a specialist in infrastructure contracts and services catering to diverse sectors like refineries, retail, and hospitality, among others, chose Lavasa City for this prestigious undertaking. Initially envisioned as a planned private hill station, Lavasa City encountered financial challenges and underwent a change in ownership before becoming the chosen site for this remarkable project.

The Chairman and Managing Director of Darwin Platform, Ajay Harinath Singh, expressed the heartfelt sentiment behind this visionary initiative. Recognizing PM Modi as a true leader, Singh stated, “PM Modi is working tirelessly to preserve the unity and integrity of our country. India has found a visionary in him, and this statue will stand as a tribute to his invaluable contributions.”

The awe-inspiring statue of PM Modi is projected to reach an impressive height ranging from 190 to 200 meters, exceeding the stature of the Statue of Unity, which stands at 182 meters. But this ambitious project does not stop at just the statue. The complex will encompass a multitude of attractions, including a museum that will showcase India’s rich heritage and the aspirations of ‘New India,’ a memorial park, an entertainment center, and an exhibition hall.

Within the exhibition hall, visitors will have the opportunity to view a biographical film that delves into the remarkable journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, offering an inspiring and closer look at his life and accomplishments.
