Recruitment drive begins in Haryana for 10k Indian workers in Israel

Under the recruitment drive, only carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, welders, and others have been invited to apply

A recruitment campaign for around 10,000 Indian construction workers in Israel began at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, Haryana. Sunit Mukherjee, Maharishi Dayanand University’s Public Relations Officer, stated that the Skill Development Corporation is organising this recruitment in accordance with an agreement between the Governments of India and Israel.

Taking this effort, the Haryana government is recruiting skilled workers under the category of skill employment. Only carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, welders, and others have been invited to apply. Sunit Mukherjee, the Public Relations Officer of Maharishi Dayanand University, stated that the new programme drew a big number of individuals from various states.

“According to this initiative of the Haryana government, arrangements have been made to send 10,000 people from Haryana to Israel. Due to good jobs and a good country, a large number of people from other states are also coming for recruitment in Rohtak.”

Unemployed individuals are willing to leave despite war-like situations

Sunit Mukherjee, the Public Relations Officer of Maharishi Dayanand University, underlined the people’s desire to visit Israel despite the war-like atmosphere.

“People who reached here told us that they came to know about the recruitment through the media, in which a salary of more than one lakh has been mentioned and people want to go to Israel to earn money despite the war-like situation.”

Sunit Mukherjee, Public Relations Officer of Maharishi Dayanand University, stated that the effort will continue till January 21.

“Maharishi Dayanand University in Rohtak, Haryana, is recruiting qualified persons in accordance with an agreement between the Governments of India and Israel. Skill Development Corporation is coordinating the recruiting effort under Skill Employment. The recruiting is being planned till January 21st.”

Ashok Kumar, an applicant from Rajasthan, stated that he wished to go to Israel and that the Israeli government would offer him with a safe working environment. “I am unemployed here and wish to relocate to Israel to earn money. The Israeli government will make all necessary steps to ensure our safety and security,” he said.
