The Indian youth is equally connected to animals and technology be it the dogs or cows or the gen Z way of spending time ie. Memes or gaming. In an attempt to show his interest & support in the likes of all youths of the country, Narendra Modi’s initiatives are undoubtedly making the mark.

Over the past few months, the prime minister has reached out youth at an intimate level to connect with them as he had been hounded a lot previously for his over interest towards nationalism and culture which are apparently not as appreciated by the youths due to a generation gap.

But for a PM and as a political leader, nobody has issued these topics on such an extent as they are considered unorthodox for the mainstream politicians to match with the growing interests of the new generation but seems like we finally got one such leader,

Along with environmental awareness, Narendra Modi has been recently pushing a lot towards animal welfare from the increasing the number of endangered species like tigers to posting videos of him feeding peacocks in his garden to even talking about the Indian breeds of dogs on Mann ki Baat.

He further not only has been asking to push the gaming and technology sector of India, he even offered to invest in startups in this particular sector and even planned on a nation-wide quiz, ‘meme competition’ in September which was a very RARE event.

It’s not just about political benefits and validation, PM Modi had been looking forward to connect with the youth of his country for quite a long time considering the growing extremism amongst the minds of young population and he seems to have struck it all on the right foot.

Along with the New Education Policy (NEP 2020) that has been recently drafted, a clear support towards his ideology can be witnessed as the youth is now changed it’s image of Narendra Modi being a communal leader as portrayed by the opposition to a leader who wants to serve the country and every citizen of it coming from all walks of life.

This has given Narendra Modi a chance to take the youth and Indic culture both hand in hand which will be the ultimate test for his government.
