Woman’s body recovered from freezer in Delhi’s Najafgarh, owner apprehended 

The officials said, “The dhaba owner, identified as Sahil Gahlot, has been apprehended on suspicion.” The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, added the police.

In yet another heinous crime in Delhi, the body of a 25-year-old woman was recovered from the freezer of a dhaba located on the outskirts of Matron village in Najafgarh, southwest Delhi. 

The victim, belonging to Delhi’s Uttam Nagar area, was allegedly two-three days ago. The officials said, “The dhaba owner, identified as Sahil Gahlot, has been apprehended on suspicion.” The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, added the police. 

The police arrested the dhaba owner, Sahil Gahlot, has been arrested on suspicion since the woman. “The dhaba owner, Sahil Gahlot, has been apprehended on suspicion,” said a senior police officer. 

The police officers said that the victim woman and Gehlot were in a relationship, but the accused decided to marry another woman. Similar to the Shraddha Walker murder case, when the victim confronted him and insisted that he marry her instead, he allegedly killed her and then stashed her body in the freezer of the dhaba. 

“According to preliminary investigation, the accused planned to marry another woman. And when the victim found out about it, she objected and persisted in marrying him,” said Vikram Singh, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka).

The body has been sent for autopsy, and it has been determined that she was killed around two to three weeks ago.
