Savitri Jindal, India’s richest woman, outshines Ambani and Adani in terms of net worth

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Savitri Jindal, India’s richest woman, has surpassed Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, and others by achieving the biggest net-worth increase among Indians in the last calendar years. Jindal’s fortune climbed by USD 9.6 billion in the previous calendar year. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, raised his net worth by around USD 5 billion in comparison. Savitri Jindal’s fortune has skyrocketed, propelling her to the fifth richest person in India. Her overall net worth is USD 25 billion, barely ahead of Wipro’s Azim Premji, who has a net worth of USD 24 billion.

Savitri Jindal is the chairman of the OP Jindal Group, a powerful economic powerhouse in the steel sector.

The steel industry’s titans, JSW Steel, Jindal Steel & Power, JSW Energy, Jindal Holdings, JSW Saw, and Jindal Stainless, are all part of the Jindal Group. Om Prakash Jindal, Savitri Jindal’s late husband, established the business.

Performance of other India Inc magnets

According to the figures, Shiv Nadar, founder and chairman emeritus of HCL Technologies, increased his fortune by USD 8 billion in the previous calendar year. KP Singh of DLF added USD 7 billion to his fortune.

Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of Aditya Birla Group, and Shapoor Mistry of Shapoorji Pallonji Group reported a USD 6.5 billion increase.

Sunil Mittal, MP Lodha, Ravi Jaipuria, and Dilip Shanghvi were among the top gainers among Indian industrialists. According to the report, Gautam Adani was the only business titan among India Inc’s major names who saw his fortune drop. His net worth fell by USD 35.4 billion to USD 85.1 billion.

He does, however, remain the second-richest Indian, after Mukesh Ambani, who is the richest Indian. Mukesh Ambani’s net worth is estimated to be USD 99.2 billion.
