Elon Musk on a roll, wants to buy Coca-Cola and McDonald’s next

After Twitter deal, Musk wants to buy Coca-Cola ‘to put back cocaine in’

Soon after finalizing the multi-billion-dollar deal for buying Twitter, tech supremo Elon Musk has set his eyes on a new prize. The new owner of the micro-blogging platform tweeted, “Next I’m buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in.”

Netizens are in awe and cannot fathom the fact whether the tweet needs to be taken seriously or is it just another jibe at some of Musk’s competitors. Back in 2017, the Tesla founder tweeted asking the price for buying Twitter and today he owns it. People are speculating that his latest statement on Coca-Cola may not be a joke and that Elon may try his resources at buying out the more than a century-old beverage corporation.

Earlier Elon had also tweeted that he wanted to buy McDonald’s and fix all of the ice-cream machines. He is known for his notorious tweets which cause a sudden movement in the world or stock markets and cryptocurrencies. Only time will tell what the richest man in the world has in his mind.

While the Twitter deal was finalized at $44 billion dollars, the soft drink company has a market cap of $284 billion dollars. Elon Musk’s current fortune stands at $253 billion; it will be interesting to see how does he plan his investments if a deal of this nature was to take place knowing that his recent purchase caused a massive blow to the share prices of Tesla resulting in severe losses to the core vaults of the automobile company.

All said and done, Elon Musk is on a ride to fix the world, first he bought Twitter to promote and bring back freedom of speech, and now he wants to reinstate the original recipe of Coca-Cola which had cocaine in it.
