The government has allocated a spacious 20-acre plot of land along the Parikrama Marg for the ‘Tent City.’ This location is conveniently situated only about 1.5 kilometers away from Ram Janmabhoomi, making it an ideal choice for visitors. The ‘Tent City’ will feature 300 luxury tents of various configurations to cater to different preferences.

The chosen location for the ‘Tent City’ has direct access from the highway to Parikrama Marg. Additionally, the surrounding area is set to be transformed into an experiential center with other projects, enhancing the overall experience for visitors. Importantly, the proposed land promises a breathtaking view of the Ram Janam Bhoomi Temple, ensuring that guests can immerse themselves fully in this sacred place.

Accommodations in Ayodhya may be limited:

Considering the massive influx of tourists expected after the temple’s inauguration in January, with approximately 1.5 lakh people visiting daily, the availability of accommodations in Ayodhya may be limited. This makes the ‘Tent City’ a valuable alternative. The Uttar Pradesh government is seeking a private bidder to develop, operate, and maintain the tent city under a five-year license.

The ‘Tent City’ project aims to provide visitors with a unique and comfortable camping experience that allows them to connect with the city’s rich culture and spirituality.
