Punjab to launch anti-corruption helpline on Shaheed Diwas: CM Bhagwant Mann asks people to Record video and send it

Punjab govt will launch an anti-corruption helpline on March 23 where citizens can send audio/video clips of any government employee demanding a bribe, CM Bhagwant Mann has announced.

New Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday announced anti-corruption assistance helpline will be launched on Shaheed Diwas.

In a video message, Mann reminded the people that when the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) came to power in Delhi, people were asked to provide videos or audio for corrupt officials. “With this, corruption is completely eradicated in Delhi,” he said.

On March 23, Shaheed Diwas, Mann will launch a helpline which will be his ‘personal’ WhatsApp number. The announcement comes after he informed that “a very big decision will be taken today in the interest of Punjab.”

Sworn in as the MLA from Dhuri in Punjab Legislative Assembly on Thursday, Bhagwant Mann said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government will bring a new change in Punjab for which the people have chosen them.
