Noida Police found significant evidence against Elvish Yadav

After an investigation into the incident, the YouTuber admitted to knowing the other individuals who were arrested last year for supplying snake venom. Noida Police, as quoted by NDTV, stated that they have discovered significant evidence against Elvish Yadav and his involvement in the distribution of snake venom.

Additional DCP (Noida) Manish Mishra was quoted by PTI as saying that Yadav was arrested by a team from the Sector 20 police station, which was investigating the case.

The other five accused were identified as Rahul (32), Teetunath (45), Jaikaran (50), Narayan (50), and Ravinath (45). All of them reside in Moharband village in southeast Delhi’s Badarpur. They were previously arrested in connection with the case but are currently out on bail.

On November 3 of the previous year, Yadav and the five others were charged with specific criminal offenses. They were accused of violating the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly organizing snake venom at a party in Noida’s Sector 51.

The investigation was initiated following a complaint by Gaurav Gupta, an animal welfare activist associated with the NGO People For Animals, who reported the matter to the Sector 49 police station.

Yadav gained nationwide recognition when he won the title of Big Boss OTT 2 in the reality show hosted by Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
