Quirky Ed Sheeran fan pulls a crazy Tinder QR stunt, Netizens amused

Ed Sheeran’s recent concert in Mumbai was all over the news because of its massive success and also because of his collab with Diljit Dosanjh. But there was another reason because of which his concert did the rounds. No, it is not connected to Ed Sheeran. A photo of an Ed Sheeran fan at his concert is doing rounds wherein the fan wore a t-shirt with a QR code on the back with a line ‘for single people only’.

Shweta Kukreja, who shared the photo of the boy’s shirt on X, wrote “Saw this guy at a concert in Mumbai last night (the QR code opens his Tinder profile)”. Her post quickly gained popularity with it garnering thousands of likes and shares within a short time from amused netizens.

According to Shweta Kukreja, when scanned, this QR code led to the boy’s Tinder profile, sparking amusement for the innovative and creative approach to finding a date on the dating app. This stunt definitely was one of the highlights of the concert, adding to the already memorable experience that the audience had.

This concert marked Ed Sheeran’s second visit to India, following his first concert in India in 2017 which too had an overwhelming response to the British songwriter-singer who is very popular amongst the Indian diaspora due to his songs and his ability to transcend cultural boundaries.
