EMISAT, under project Kautilya, which is an ELINT (electronic intelligence), carried out a pass over occupied Tibet near Arunachal Pradesh. Chinese positions were recorded in Depsang sector, where PLA was seen digging bunkers.

The EMISAT also passed over Pakistan’s Jinnah Naval Base (Ormara Base) in Balochistan. This base reported has sheltered Chinese submaries in the near past.

RISAT-2BR1, India’s radar reconnaissance satellite, collected intelligence on Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) base in Eastern Africa’s Djibouti located on the Horn of Africa. China has recently built it’s overseas naval base in the strategic located nation. There were reports that the base housed three Chinese warships.

These surveillance satellites have been built by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and operated by the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). Their capabilities are among the most highly-classified and closely-guarded aspects of operation for military purposes. The missions determine the position and nature of all sources of transmission in an enemy area through radio signals.

De-escalation talks are continuing for the standoff at Pangong-Tso’s Finger-4 area. There are speculations of a two-front war in Ladakh and Kashmir in the winters. India’s aggressive military and naval posturing suggests it is preparing for the same.
