Rickshaw driver who hosted Kejriwal for dinner shows up at BJP rally, trolls AAP and says it was all ‘scripted & fake’

On September 12, Kejriwal reached Dantani's house in his auto-rickshaw in violation of Chief Minister's security protocol and had dinner.

In a big embarassment to the AAP supremo, the auto-rickshaw driver, who recently dined with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during his visit to Gujarat, attended the BJP event in Ahmedabad on Friday and claimed that he was made to ask Kejriwal if he would like to have dinner with him.

In the video that has taken over the internet, the driver, identified as Vikram Dattani, a resident of the city’s Ghatlodia area, can be seen wearing a BJP sash and a saffron cap. He even said on Live TV that he supports and has voted only for BJP since the day he started voting.

Zubin Ashara, BJP state media head of Gujarat, also tweeted video of the auto driver with three other BJP members on Friday and alleged that the auto driver told them that he was paid to meet Kejriwal.

Speaking to the media, Dantani said a bus full of people from Dantaninagar had come to PM Modi’s rally today. He also added that he was never aware that Kejriwal would do politics over visit to his home.
