A 16-year-old girl was stabbed more than 50 times by a man outside her home in Delhi’s Shahbad area. The whole incident has been recorded on CCTV.
The act was so ferocious that at one point the knife got stuck in the head of the victim. The accused then picked up a heavy slab made of cement lying nearby and started hitting her as people passed by, but no one tried to intervene or stop the accused.
Sahil, 20, was in a relationship with the girl, but killed her after a quarrel, the Delhi Police said. The accused is absconding.
They said the 16-year-old girl was on her way to attend her friend’s son’s birthday when she was intercepted by Sahil, who stabbed her multiple times and also hit her with a stone in an alley.
An FIR u/s 302 IPC at PS Shahbad Dairy has been registered on the complaint of the deceased’s father.
