Farmers protesting against laws are ‘real’ but farmers showing support are fake?

farm bill support sixteen nine

There is no harm in acknowledging the 90% farmers who are not protesting against the farm laws or the farmer unions from across the country including opposition ruled states who came in support of the bill.

But blinded by political ideologies, the hate towards BJP has turned into discrediting anyone who supports the government let alone the farmers who are supporting the farm laws and appreciating them.

While the farm labors still continue to work in the farms during this sowing season, the entire nation is busy demeaning the protesting or the supporting farmers and it seems like people have forgotten that India is a democracy and if more people support it, it is likely to implement.

Just because 3,00,000 farmers are protesting, we can’t discredit the remaining 14,97,00,000 farmers who are not protesting. The majority of them are not raising voices against it for a reason because they know the laws are for their betterment.

On the other hand our mainstream media is busy covering the Delhi Protests so much that they chose to ignore the 50 km long Tractor rally that took place from Meerut to Delhi NCR with thousands of tractors, cars and over 20,000 farmers. Not to forget, this is from one city alone.

This is a democracy, agreement and disagreements with the government will continue but taking back farm laws just because you don’t like it is the most childish demand of the politically-influenced farmer unions.

If only we sanely think about it, the government has clearly said that they are ready to modify in WHATEVER possible way the farmers want. But since they are adding on new demands and only demanding to take back laws, it is clear that the farm laws aren’t the real issue for them.

Especially the opposition who was once foul crying that BJP supporters are labeling the protesting farmers ‘fake’ & ‘Khalstanis’ now, they are doing the same to the supporting farmers so what is the difference?

How about we discredit all the protestors/supporters and acknowledge that real farmers are out there working in fields as this is the sowing season of Rabi crops while political protests engulf the country.
