‘Farmers’ attack vaccination drive in Haryana and chase away doctors, health workers from center

Claiming that Coronavirus is a ‘BJP made propaganda’ and that the government wants to decrease the population of this country which is why they are giving these vaccines, the members of BKU attacked the Vaccination Center.

Farmers reached one of the two vaccination centers in Kaithal, set up at a school, and did not allow doctors to vaccinate healthcare workers on Saturday. They further chased away doctors as well as health/frontline workers who were to be vaccinated.

Chaotic scenes were observed in Kaithal, Haryana where the vaccination center was in disarray and papers were strewn all over the place. The doctors were forced to escape the place.

Later when police were called in, the vaccination drive was shifted to the Civil hospital as and force was deployed so that no such act is repeated.

It is pertinent to mention that lawlessness has been observed in significant sections of the farmer protests. Apart from vandalizing Jio towers across Punjab, an India Today Editor said that a lot of them were also sexually harassing female reporters.
