E-rickshaws will be operated by local tribal women at statue of unity. Area around The Statue Of Unity will soon be converted into an electric-only zone.

Today women are being promoted a lot in every field. Today’s woman does not only do household chores but is progressing in every field. Whether it is science or politics, women are taking new steps of development in every field. In such a situation, women are also being helped by the government at every step. Under this effort, the women of Kevadiya Colony have been given e-rickshaw by the Gujarat government.

The entire Kevadiya area has been declared as an Electric Vehicle zone. To keep the Statue of Unity pollution-free, an e-rickshaw has started running. The special thing is that this e-rickshaw will be run by women. This is an important step in the direction of providing self-employment to the local tribals with the protection of the environment. For this already 60 local women were being trained by GMR Van Lakshmi Foundation. Practical training was also given after teaching theory to the women in one month of training.

Out of 60 women taking training, the license of 45 women has also come. Apart from these 60 women, 224 other people are also taking different types of education. During the launch of the e-rickshaw, Gujarat state president and Navsari MP CR Patil rode in a rickshaw run by women. Apart from this, the MLA of Majura Assembly Harsh Sanghvi was also present during this.

Unique happiness was seen on the faces of the women while running the rickshaw. Apart from keeping the country pollution-free, the unique happiness of standing on one’s own feet could be seen on the faces of the women. Many more women are being trained in this way now. It is being hoped that this pink colour rickshaw will bring happiness to the lives of women as well and will also help keep Kevadiya Colony pollution-free.https://twitter.com/CMOGuj/status/1433798748769951747?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1433798748769951747%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.loktej.com%2Fnews%2F10-e-rakshas-dedicated-to-tribal-women-on-statue-of-unity
