UP IAS officer caught carrying out propaganda against hinduism

A senior IAS officer has been caught carrying out propognda against Hinduism. He has been accused of promoting religious conversions and spreading propaganda against Hinduism after a video of him attending a conversion ceremony has gone viral on social media.

The accusation have been levelled by the national vice-president of Math Mandir Coordination Committee Bhupesh Awasthi. Awasthi released a video of religious programmes of then Kanpur Zone Commissioner Mohammed Iftikharuddin. It is revealed that in this videos that Iftikharuddin is telling people the benefits of adopting Islam as religion. The videos also feature a maulana sitting beside the IAS.

Another video has also resurfaced that shows the IAS and Maulana preaching radical lesson at the resident of the Iftikharuddin.

Meanwhile, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to probe the case, which will be headed by DG CBCID GL Meena. The SIT will submit its report to the UP government within seven days, said the Home Department.
