Wear a mask or go to jail: Madhya Pradesh police issues new order to make people follow the ‘rules’

With the decrease in temperature, another wave of COVID19 has struck the country and to curb the increasing numbers, government is finding various ways and bizarre set of rules.

One of such news is from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh where the administration has decided to send the people who are not wearing masks to a ‘temporary jail’. This special campaign will be started from Thursday, under which people who do not apply masks will be kept in an open prison for 10 hours which have been made in various places.

It has also been said that corona-positive patients who are undergoing isolation at home should undergo strict treatment of home isolation or else they will also be dealt with in a similar manner. The Collector in a review meeting also says that it will be seen from time to time if a corona positive patient moving out of his house or not.

It is also being said that similar rule can be inacted in cities across Madhya Pradesh and even in other states where people are not following SOPs ordered by the government.
