Anti-Vax nurse injects ‘saline water’ instead of COVID vaccine to 8,600 individuals
The nurse had posted numerous anti-vax posts on social media. She exchanged vaccine doses with saline solutions before administrating the jabs.
A rogue anti-vax nurse is being investigated by police after injecting up to 8,600 people with a saline water solution instead of a Covid-19 vaccine.
Authorities are now advising all the thousands of people to get another Covid-19 jab in case they received this dummy earlier this year.
A German Red Cross nurse reportedly injected salt solution into people’s arms instead of genuine Covid-19 vaccinations at a centre in northern Germany. Even though the reason is unknown, she had reportedly broadcast anti-vax views on social media, investigators reported.
The nurse was able to replace vials because she was “responsible for the preparation of vaccines and the preparation of syringes during her working hours in the vaccination centre”, health authorities said.
And while the faux jab was harmless, it may have disproportionately affected elderly people, who are at a greater risk of contracting the virus.
Unfortunately, the nurse isn’t the first medical practitioner to express anti-vax views. In June, a Texas hospital suspended 178 employees for two weeks without pay for refusing to get the coronavirus vaccine.
