A gym-goer has died while attempting to lift a monstrous 180kg barbell.
The lady attempted to lift the enormous load in front of her girl at Gym Fitness Sports gymnasium in Mexico on Monday.
In any case, the free weight seemed, by all accounts, to be excessively heavy and it fell on her, devastating her neck onto the seat and killing her on the spot.
The film shows the little lady endeavouring to lift the hand weight at the exercise centre in Peralvillo, Cuauhtemoc, in the Mexican capital of Mexico City.
Others at the gym promptly hurried to help her after the 180kg barbell fell on the rear of her neck, passing on her drooping to the floor dead.
One man can be seen lying on her side as they all look on in apparent shock.
Her daughter was reportedly very affected by the incident and is believed to be receiving psychological support.
An investigation into the incident has been launched by the state prosecutor’s office.
The gym owner, who has not been named, was reportedly briefly arrested to confirm the woman’s identity.
The investigation is ongoing.
